Sending documents without a scanner

If you don't own a scanner, the following options are still available to you:

  • You may take a clear photo of your documents with a camera phone, a digital camera, or a webcam.
  • You can use a scanner at your local library, print shop or internet cafe.

Screenshots taken on a computer screen, where the screenshot contains all your information and the full URL of the web page, are accepted.

We accept PDF files and JPEG picture files. For larger files, you may need to use compression software such as Winzip to reduce the file size.

After you've saved your images, you can send the documents through by following these steps (where applicable):

If you're using our desktop platform or our website:

  • Help → Contact Us
  • Category: Account Security and Verification
  • Sub-category: Verify Me

If you're using a mobile device, tap on the menu (Android) or More (iOS), then:

  • Settings & Tools → Support → Submit documents

If you have our PokerStars Next Gen app, tap on the Account button, then:

  • Help → Submit documents
  • Category: Account Security and Verification
  • Sub-category: Upload Documents
  • Write your message, attach your documents and then tap on Send.

Ensure that the image resolution is clear enough so that we can easily read all the information. Each image must display the required document in its entire form without any cropping.
