Play Money purchase issues on Mac due to a technical failure

Error: "Due to a technical failure your request could not be processed. Please go back and try again. If the problem persists, contact technical support."

If you receive the error above when trying to buy Play Money chips from your Mac, it is likely your Safari browser is blocking third-party cookies

In order to enable cookies and fix the issue, follow the steps below.

Safari 5.1 and later:

  1. Open Safari and in the top left corner of your screen click on Safari and select Preferences.
  2. In the preferences window select the Privacy option and under Block cookies select Never.

Safari 5.0.x and earlier:

  1. Click on the Safari menu in Safari.
  2. Click on the Preferences item in the menu - a new window will open.
  3. Click on the Security icon near the top of the window.
    Under Accept Cookies, select Always or Only from sites you navigate.
  4. Save changes by clicking OK.

Your browser should now accept all third-party cookies and allow you to complete your purchase.
